Another great Potomac Velo Club – Wednesdays At Wakefield series finished this week. We were happy to see some many young racers take on the new course. Wicked Wash Racing had racers in expert, sport, single speed, and juniors. We’re proud of our young rising stars: Luke won all 13/14 boys races/series and took second overall in the junior 15-16 series after a 2nd places and three 3rd places. Braydon finished the series in 2nd place in the 11/12 boys, with 6th, 3rd, and 2nd place finishes. Erin also finished the series in 2nd place thanks to a 1st, 2nd, and 2 3rd places.
After standing on the podium at all 4 races, Laurie took second place in the expert female for the series. Marco wasn’t the fastest single speeder out there, but a 5th, 1st, and 4th place finish was good enough to win the Single Speed series.

Noah, David, and Chris raced the competitive open expert male category. Congrats Noah for a top ten finish in the series. John raced a packed 45+ category finishing the series in 4th. Tom and Jeff raced single speed and there was even an AJ sighting…
